Hi there,
I'm Francesco, a 28-year-old from Bologna. If I were to sum myself up in three words, I'd say sunny, curious, and determined.
For the past three years, I've been working in a public relations and communication agency, focusing on media relations, event planning, and social media management. However, I now feel it's time for a change and a fresh adventure.
Throughout my journey, I've had the chance to study in Belgium as part of the Erasmus program and lived in Milan, where I completed a master's degree in Strategic Communication and launched my career.
Travel has always been a big passion of mine, something I likely inherited from my father, who hails from Panama. He passed on to me a thirst for discovering new cultures and perspectives, and I feel most alive when I'm abroad, meeting new people, and hearing their stories.
I'm also deeply connected to nature and love staying active through sports like hiking, running, surfing, swimming, and biking. I'm eager to learn more about farming and agriculture, take care of animals, and engage in hands-on tasks around the house. After years of a more conventional lifestyle, I feel drawn to explore new ways of living and reconnect with more grounded experiences.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing and listening to music, practicing yoga, and trying out meditation.
My long-standing dream is to work in the music industry—I've been playing guitar and singing since I was six years old.
I’m fluent in English, have a strong understanding of Spanish, and am keen to improve it further.
Actually I'm in Tenerife working at the reception of an hostel.

Working in the communications industry, I am very familiar with spoken and written Italian, so I can definitely get busy teaching it. I have always studied English and am able to speak and write it fluently. I understand Spanish very well and would like to learn more about the language. I would like to learn French.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am an open minded person always ready to listen. I don’t need too much to be happy and I try to value the little daily things.
I have a degree in Communications and worked for more than 3 years in a communications agency so I am very familiar with the language of media, print and social media. I have been involved in writing press releases, managing social profiles and running a blog on agriculture and food.
During the break from exams in my university career, I worked for several years in potato harvesting. So I know what it means to take care of the fields and work in agriculture. I also did portering for setting up fairs and events. Furthermore, when I was younger I was also involved in animation in a summer solar camp for children and youth. I have never taken care of animals, but it would be really great to be able to do that.
Being Italian, I have a bit of food culture in my blood. I like to cook, to taste new dishes, but most of all to know where what I eat comes from.
I am a very determined and curious person, I like being outdoors, learning new things and having busy days. I've always wanted to have a volunteer experience abroad and feel socially useful. I would like to learn how to live in a more environmentally sustainable way.
