Description
Hey, I'm Mike! I am currently working in South Lake Tahoe for the spring until June 13, and would like to hang out in northern California for the rest of the month while waiting for my summer job to start in mid July.
I have been on Work away before, but have never had the chance to try one of the experiences until now.
I am into backpacking, canoeing, and Karaoke...though not all at the same time. I am also the kind of person who has to be doing something, whether it is work or seeing a sight. If I meet a new person or see a location that I never never knew existed, then it is a good day.
It is my hope that whoever reads this has a chance to say hello, or cross paths with me out there. The feeling is mutual!Centres d’intérêt

I have spent quite a few seasons working at a hotel on a ski resort in Vermont called Stratton, checking guests in and out of the hotel and condos, and answering all manner of questions about the area. We are kind of in the middle of nowhere.
I have also worked as all purpose staff at a conference center on Lake Tahoe; i have cleaned quite a few toilets and rooms in my day; and my hospital corners aren't bad either.
And to boot, I have been a tour guide on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, telling folks about the Spanish Mustang horses that have been living on the beach for thousands of years.Âge

So, 9 years ago, I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, a hiking trail that crosses 2,180 miles of the East Coast of the US from Georgia to Maine.
I took about 5 months, and it was honestly its own lifetime. One days felt like three, and three days hiking felt like a week.
The whole experience put me on all of the adventures I have been on since then. And it is without a doubt one of the greatest things I have ever done.Informations complémentaires

The work that they had was not complicated, and they were very clear about what they wanted. They were very laid back to work for, as they communicated very clearly what they wanted, and gave me my space to relax when work was done.
