Hello everyone! My name is Frederik (Freddy, Fred) and I am 20 years old.

November 2021 - August 2022: voluntary work in community/ agriculture project in Nicoya, Costa Rica
August 2022 - September 2022: First Workaway experience in El Transito, Nicaragua as a bartender at Free Spirit Hostel
September 2022 - October 2022: Travel with family in Costa Rica
October 2022 - November 2022: One month at home
November 2022 - April 2023: Working as ski instructor in St. Anton, Austria at Skischule Arlberg
April 2023 - June 2023: Working as a waiter in my hometown
July 2023 - August 2023: Hoping to work at a surf camp ;)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

COOKING: I love to cook and have started it from an early age on. Right after school, I helped out in the kitchen of a restaurant near my house in Bonn, Germany in exchange for some money and great food.
ENGLISH: I would say that my English skills are on a very good level, considering that it is not my native language. I also participated in an one-year exchange to North Carolina, USA during my 10th year of High School which further strengthened my speaking and writing skills.
SPORTS: I am really enthusiastic about and talented in Sports. My favorites are Basketball and Surfing. I bought my own board here in Costa Rica and like to go surfing whenever I have free time in Sámara or Nosara which are beaches nearby. However, I really enjoy all ball sports (soccer, tennis, volleyball etc) and would consider myself pretty good at them.
CHILDREN: I like to be around little children and teach them different things, especially splaying sports with them or other active games. Eventhough I have never taught at a school or did an internship at a kindergarten since it is not the direction I think I will go into professionally, I would say that also children like to be around me and it is also fun for them.
MUSIC: I love to listen to music which I do basically whenever I do work that does not require full concentration (according to Spotify, I have listened to music for 69 997 minutes in 2021). Eventhough I have played the piano for a few years when I was younger and am looking forward to picking up that hobby again in the future, I would not consider myself good enough to improvise or do anyone any good by playing the things I still know.
