Description

Hi, we're Theo and Felix, two friends from the south west of England 😁 Through workaway we're aspiring to further our progress towards a life of off-grid self sufficiency; whether it is regenerative farming, construction, woodworking... we're keen to learn any type of new skill! We are very social and are looking forward to meeting new people with similar interests who share a love of nature and the simple things in life.

As I travel from place to place I am keen to learn the languages. I did not try hard at languages at school which I regret hugely, and would like to begin my language journey all over again!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Felix:
I am well educated, coming out of school with good A level and GCSE grades. English is the only language I fluently speak, but I am a good teacher and could pass on my knowledge of the language. I have over 3 years experience in child care, from ages 6 moths to 14 years. When working in child care I specialised in sports and setting up fun games and activities for the children to take part in. I have also done some labouring work, although I am unqualified at labouring, I am young and physically fit and will be easily capable of picking up new skills.

Theo:
I am a full time carpenter/ general builder. For the last couple of years I've been developing my skills on the job with a small company working on extensions, renovations, bespoke joinery and landscaping , and although I am not qualified, my 2-3 years experience, aswell as a variety of my own projects, has made me a capable carpenter, and confident in a variety of skills such as tiling, groundworks, and a bit of plumbing. I am a very fast learner and always keen to have a go at something new.
I am a father to a three year old son, so like Felix, I am great with kids. I am very sociable, I love meeting new people and can adapt to any social setting. I am very much looking forward to building new relationships and hopefully some new skills.
