Description

Hello! My name is Emily and I am a half Scottish, half Italian human lady living in Bristol, England.

At the moment, I work in a hospital as a medical doctor, but I am an aspiring ecologist! I am undertaking a Masters in wildlife conservation in order to make this career change possible. I love to stop to look at lichen, and am always collecting nice rocks, feathers and plants. I love bird watching. I am passionate about animal welfare and have enjoyed volunteering at an ethical big cat sanctuary in South Africa.

Through Workaway I would love to gain new and diverse experiences of being in nature, see wildlife and learn about biodiversity conservation and sustainable living! :)
