Description
Hello I'm Chris! Explorer, musician and life-long learner here who loves gardening, foraging for wild plants, history, drawing, going to concerts, searching for ancient trees, playing board games and quiet moments with a book. I enjoy all kinds of music but especially folk music and folk dancing, because sharing this with others creates a special kind of joy and connection. My education is in music, social studies and gardening.
Currently I am a freelancer based in Budapest, Hungary, looking for long-term summer positions in the countryside. I am a mature, responsible person and have extensive experience in caretaking, pet-sitting, organic gardening, customer service, hospitality and teaching (English, music, gardening and crafts). Additionally I have worked at a number of historic properties, which is its own special skill set. I'm flexible, a quick learner and take initiative with tasks that need doing.
Non-smoker, non-drinker, with both US and EU citizenship. I love cultural exchanges/learning languages and look forward to meeting you soon!

I have experience teaching English, and am interested in continuing to learn German, French, Hungarian and Spanish. I can also teach music, folk dance, improv comedy as well as how to hunt for wild plants and what they can be used for.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have a degree in music and sociology, and have worked as a freelance musician, teacher, gardener, guide, organizer and project manager for much of my life. This includes all the customer service, computer and administrative skills one would imagine, as well as farmstay and tourism/hospitality industry experience. I also have certifications in herbal medicine and gardening, so have quite a lot of experience with people as well as plants :-). I've lived in 7 different countries so am used to adapting quickly to new cultures and situations.

I love playing music and going to concerts, from classical to folk metal. Dr. Who fan. I enjoy history, museums, botanical gardens, cartoons, morris dancing, and foraging for minerals.
