Les activités qui m'intéressent :

I am currently in France and I would love to learn more about sustainable farming and community living. I am also interested to see the nature and history of the areas that I am in.

Description

I am moving to nipaloona/Hobart and would like to learn more about regenerative farming, foraging, building sustainable passive buildings and tips and tricks on how to live effectively in a community. I love being a part of a community and am also happy to spend time in my own company. I enjoy getting my hands dirty, learning new skills and picking up different languages. I love eating all food and can share some Thai meals (if I can find the ingredients!).

For the last 3 years I have lived in my van with mostly a rock climbing community which unexpectedly gave me a beautiful taste of community living that I've been looking into for some years.

I have been working as a physiotherapist with children and will hopefully be starting work in nipaloona in February. I like to volunteer in climate justice activism so I am also looking to learn more about how different communities are working towards climate justice from a systemic level.

I am travelling with my van so I'm happy to provide my own accommodation if needed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a physiotherapist typically working with kids. I love being around kids and creating games so would be happy to look after children.
I have volunteered in Thailand at an orphanage, helped plant trees on my mother's land in Thailand, helped with gardening on a small market farm and I have done some dog sitting.
I can use basic power tools making basic tables and drawers in my van.
I enjoy moving and some heavy lifting.
I love to socialise and learn and also am very happy in my own company and can work autonomously.

I enjoy camping, rock climbing, swimming, hiking, boardgames and cards, dance, arts, music, learning languages and climate justice activism.
Last year I was learning Australian Sign Language, very interesting and complex language!
I would particularly like to learn more about sustainable living, community living, permaculture and gain more skills in building.
