Hi! My name is Emily Poncin. I graduated high school in 2021 and took a gap year backpacking Europe where I participated in one work away experience as a nanny. It was such a phenomenal experience that I am looking to do something similar to that again. I attended college for a year after I got home but unfortunately wasn't able to afford it to continue so I have been home the last year working full time.
I am a super outgoing person, I am great with animals and children, and I am always up for a new adventure. I keep very active. I love going to the gym, for a hike, or anything outside! I am looking to start my next work away trip in London at the beginning of October. I fell in love with London the first time I stayed there and cannot wait to live there again.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My family has owned many restaurants in the past, so I grew up in the restaurant industry. I have worked at a restaurant for the past 3 years. Before that I was a camp counselor for kids ages 4-12 during the summer. I babysit all throughout the school year and am constantly working with children. I am well educated in music and have been playing piano since I was little, as my whole family is very musical. I know some Spanish, but i really want to become fluent in the language. I am eager to learn new languages as I think it is so important.

I love to play card games with my friends and family. Hiking is something that takes up a lot of my time, as I love to be outdoors. I also love to explore new cities because I grew up right outside of Washington DC. I am open to all types of people and have a very open mind. I love to learn about new cultures and am excited to immerse myself into some!
