Description

I am a positive and adventurous person who loves the nature and its stillness. I am looking for workaways because I want to live and work in Scandinavia this summer before moving to Vienna to do neuroscience research!

I grew up in the city of Hamburg but my family and I visited our small countryside house every weekend. Gardening, renovating our house and collecting four-leaf clovers brought me so much peace and joy! I have been striving for it ever since and want to live on small organic farm at some point in my life.

I chose Scandinavia because I love its nature and culture - and because I have an emotional connection to it. My grandparents used to live in Sweden near Gothenburg, so I spent my summers at their old farmhouse eating Havregrynsgröt and räka, swimming in cold lakes and enjoying the unescapable sun. I last visited Sweden three years ago with my boyfriend and have been dreaming about returning ever since! I would also love to explore other scandinavian countries.

About me: I have spent the last 5 years in Amsterdam studying a psychology bachelor and a neuroscience master and want to become a researcher. I love reading, music and nature.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love gardening work - even repetitive things such as plucking weeds. Growing up, my family and I visited our small countryside house and spent the weekends taking care of the lush garden.

I also used to work on renovating this house which taught be a lot of handy skills, such as using a wide range of tools and painting windows and walls, and more.

I have a much younger little sister (10 years younger) and am used to being around children. I like playing with children and being around them in general!

I love animals and would love do work related to them. Unfortunately, I have an allergy against cats.

I am not the strongest person, but like to do physical work regardless! :)

I am open to doing other work too :)
