Description

I am new to Workaway and I am super interested in learning new skills that I can use later in life. Last summer I worked for the Montana Conservation Corps and I fell in love with the outdoors, and hard work. I grew up around chickens and goats, and I hope to someday have my own farm/homestead. I am also passionate about the environment and am super interested in strategies to reduce our impact on the earth. In my free time, I like to read, practice guitar, and exercise. Overall, I am super excited to meet new people and learn all about the different ways of life. I hope I can provide some value to whoever I get to work with!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a B.S. in Earth and Environmental Science. Last summer, I worked on wilderness trails, so I have lots of knowledge related to backpacking, camping, and trail-building techniques. I also have experience using digging tools and basic carpentry tools. I am fluent in English, and I have intermediate-level Spanish skills. I have some experience taking care of farm animals (goats and chickens), and I can take care of dogs and cats too.

I also enjoy meditation and spiritual practice. I like to play sports, and I played basketball in high school. It's random, but I also used to be really into speed-solving Rubik's cubes.
