Hi there!

My name is Elin and I am a 22 year old bubbly and positive girl from Sweden. The last three years I have spent working and traveling solo around the world and still have many more places that I want to visit. I have done some volunteering with different companies before and according to me it is the absolute best way to experience a country, the culture and to meet the locals. After having spent 1 year in Australia, I have just arrived in Asia and am planing to stay for 5 months.

I have experience from many different jobs and hold a very broad skill set, but most importantly I am a person who loves to try new things and am always keen to go out of my comfort zone. I have previous experience from waitressing, housekeeping, working as a stewardess and a host, sales, elder care, farm work, etc.


I am very flexible and will happy to assist wherever I can! My hobbies and interests are:
-Animals

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

* Work experience and skills/abilities

I started working within service when I was 15 years old and have kept doing that since then. I have had almost 10 different jobs, everything from eldercare, costumer service, to restaurants and most recent I have been working on yachts! Some of the skills and abillities I have gained under the years are:

-Housekeeping: I have been working as an housekeeper on superyacts but also around serveral different hotels in Australia.
-Hosting: I did a ski season in Courchevel, France where I did work as a host in a luxury chalet.
-Personal skills, I have worked with all type of people and do therefore have abilities to get along with anyone and can adjust to any situation.
-Waitress: I can do some basic cooking. But I have way more knowledge about serving/presenting both food and beverage.
-Deckhand: I worked alone on deck on a 30 meter boat, therefore I have some knowledge in dockning, teak maintenance and polishing.


Volunteer jobs:

Dog walker: I have ever since I was a kid loved all types of animals and was very stubborn to become a dog walker when I was 9 years, even though my parents insisted and hoped it was just a phase, I did knock on every door in the neighbourhood. Which resulted in me walking and feeding 2 of my neighbours dogs a couple of days every week. I did also sometimes have them live at my house when their owners were away.

Farmwork:
I did spend 1,5 months on two different farms in Australia where I got to learn a lot about how to run a self sufficient farm. My duties involved a lot of animal care aswell where I got to help out with the chickens, hens, horses, cats, dogs, cows, pigs, sheeps, etc.

I do have a big interest of training and have practised/am practising many sports so as badminton, swimming, boxing, lifting, skipping, table tennis etc.

I am also very into yoga and mindfulness which is something I practise almost everyday!
