Description

Hello!

We are Etienne (24) and Elisa (25) from France and Norway. We are currently living in Haarlem, The Netherlands with our fur baby, Atlas. We've lived pretty international lives - both growing up in China, studying university in Canada and then settling down in The Netherlands since 2021. Throughout our lives, we've been city folk. In the last few years though, we've started to crave more quiet, more greenery and a more simplistic way of life - wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of cities as well as the 9-5 grind.

We hope to one day move to France and have our own quiet cottage nestled in the French campagne. We would love for the opportunity to escape into the French countrysides - whether it be working in vineyards (we have a growing interest in vinology), gardening on country land or working on farms. As long as there's nature, quiet, good people and good food - we're happy! :)

We would bring hard work, enthusiasm to learn and great conversation!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both physically fit people that are able to do physical tasks as needed. We are both eager learners, hard workers and enjoy a good atmosphere.

Etienne is a licensed commercial pilot - so he's quick to understand technical information, has strong communication skills and is able to think quickly on the spot. As a teenager, he also worked a lot with motorbike engines so is an adept mechanic. He works a lot in maintaining our garden (as he needed to bring it back from the dead!) - growing it from seeds, watering it and often cutting it with the lawnmower. He's a very hands-on individual.

Elisa is a scientist - meticulous in her work and eager to take on new challenges. She's an organiser, enjoys proof-reading and editing, loves to be in the kitchen either cooking or baking (especially baking!) and being creative (either through photography or video making). She is eager to learn more skills in cultivating plants and being more hands on in nature, and isn't afraid of taking on challenges.
