Description

I have spent the first half of last year doing workaways around the south of England and Northern Ireland, then I took a job in Cambridgeshire for the second part of the year. I am very keen to work in the agricultural sector into the future. I enjoy practical work and get great satisfaction from finishing projects big and small. I love my crafts and dedicate a large portion of my spare time to crocheting, cross stitching and similar projects.

I have been working towards moving to the UK for a number of years and am very excited now that I have the funds to do so. I intend to continue travelling around the country in my time here whilst working, earning and learning as much as I can.

I am particularly drawn to open natural spaces (one of the reasons I love farming) and am a keen walker and explorer of hills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In my time on farm, I have learned to: operate machinery including tractors, forklifts and telehandlers; direct, load and unload trucks; maintain and repair farm equipment including using power tools; become comfortable around livestock. I am able to work alone or in teams of different sizes, I can communicate efficiently and effectively and I pick up new skills quickly.
