Description

Hello! We are Nina (42) and Dileep (36), a couple from Germany and India.

We are looking for more than just a place to stay. We love discovering new places, experiencing different ways of life and getting to know people from different cultures. For us, Workaway is about learning, sharing experiences and becoming part of everyday life for a while.

Nina has a background as a special education teacher in Germany. She is an open-minded, optimistic and empathetic person with a creative spirit. She loves photography, painting and writing, enjoys spending time in nature and values mindfulness. She is naturally curious, loves learning new things and embraces new challenges with enthusiasm. Whether it's helping around the house, caring for animals or taking on everyday tasks, she enjoys helping wherever she can and is always happy to lend a hand. Thanks to her professional background, she feels very comfortable around children and is happy to help with childcare if needed.

Dileep has a background in IT and mechatronics. He has volunteered on organic farms, where he gained experience with permaculture and sustainable living. He enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills and supporting practical projects. Cooking is one of his greatest passions, and he loves preparing delicious meals and sharing food with others. He enjoys meeting people from different cultures and is always happy to learn from new experiences.

Together, we are reliable, respectful and easy-going. We enjoy practical work and are happy to help wherever we are needed – whether it's caring for animals, gardening, cooking, painting, cleaning, house sitting or general household tasks. We are not professional carpenters, but we are always willing to learn. We are not afraid of getting our hands dirty and genuinely enjoy contributing wherever we can.

We enjoy spending time with our hosts if they would like to share a meal or a conversation, but we are equally happy doing our own thing and respecting everyone's privacy. We adapt easily to different lifestyles and appreciate open communication, mutual respect and a relaxed atmosphere.

We are non-smokers, tidy and trustworthy, and we treat every home with care. We hope to contribute with kindness, enthusiasm and a helping hand wherever we stay.

Yes! We enjoy cultural exchange and would be happy to help others practise English or German. At the same time, we are always open to learning a few words of a new language and discovering more about local cultures and traditions. Dileep speaks fluent English, Hindi and Telugu, while Nina speaks fluent German and English.
