Description

We are a mother and daughter duo from Australia travelling the world looking to learn , share and connect with people from other cultures along the way .
Until late last year I owned and operated vegan cafes in Australia. I am a vegan chef and recipe developer and have a great love for cooking and growing food. I specialise in gluten free and refined sugar free cooking and baking .
I am a mother to 3 grown children and am travelling with my 14 year old daughter Bella who has been world schooled/ unschooled for the past year.
I have volunteered at Edgar’s mission a well known farm animal sanctuary in Melbourne , assisting cleaning out animal pens , gardening and spending time with the farm animals. I am always ready to give anything a go and not afraid to get my hands dirty or take on a physical task . I have an adventurous nature and Bella and I are currently crew members sailing from Alicante Spain through Sardinia, Corsica and into Le Spezia where I will be looking for my next adventure.
Activities I enjoy include reading , watercolour painting, hiking and yoga.
We have always had animals as part of our family , we currently have a dog and two cats that live in our home back in Australia with my daughter. We miss them so much so having animals is a definite bonus. I have experience with dogs, cats , pigs, chickens, birds, fish, turtles and mice/rats.
Bella is mature well beyond her years, she is the youngest of 4 children and has worked in my cafes since she was 11 years of age with food preparation, cleaning and customer service . She also has her competent crew certificate for sailing and has put those skills to practice on our current sailing trip. Bella has been learning Italian the last year and would love to have a work away in Italy to gain more confidence in her Italian and to also exchange by helping others with their English . She is a confident and capable person with excellent communication skills and a gentle and kind heart who is an avid reader and loves to bake.
We are happy to share a bed , we are also available for house and pet sitting and can provide references .
We are so excited for the adventure ahead and to connect with some beautiful people from around the globe .

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am happy to give anything a go and would love to learn new skills but what I am most capable of currently is cooking or teaching to create healthy delicious vegetarian/ pescatarian meals , baking , cleaning, helping in the garden, caring for animals , caring for babies and children, creative play , helping with English written and communication skills.
I can teach how to adapt any recipe to a vegetarian or vegan option and also gluten free and refined sugar free baking .
I have excellent house management skills with an eye for detail and can multitask .
I can also offer admin, reception and help with social media. I managed my social media accounts for both my businesses in Melbourne.
We come as a team so Bella will partake in all the above activities with me.
