I’m a 24 year old Canadian and I work as a wildfire fighter in my home province of British Colombia. I am taking a year off work to do some travelling. I especially enjoy spending time outdoors and love to hike and play ultimate frisbee. Additionally, I have a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. When it comes to work I don’t mind getting dirty and making sure the job gets done!

I would also consider myself pretty quiet. I enjoy an afternoon of reading, writing or exploring whatever city I find myself in. But I also have a passion for meeting new people and learning about different cultures. It would be a pleasure to get to know your part of the world and do what I can to help. I also have a high school level fluency of Spanish but I am keen to learn more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have spent the past few years working as a wildfire fighter in British Columbia, Canada. The job involves working long hard hours in remote parts of the Canadian backcountry, but also requires teamwork and problem solving in a stressful environment. I have also worked in more customer-facing jobs as a ski instructor and a restaurant server. Overall, I believe that my work experience demonstrates my abilities as a cooperative, hard worker whose ready to both lead and follow when appropriate.

I guess you could say I'm a bit of a hobby enthusiast! Over the years I've picked up tennis, skateboarding, skiing, scrapbooking, cooking, photography, beer brewing, rowing and backpack hiking! But I often find myself hanging out with friend and playing a board games.

I also have aspirations to become a writer and like to spend my weekend mornings working on whatever writing piece I have currently on the go.
