Between my medical studies, you'll often find me lost in the pages of literature or you'll spot me engaging in activities like running, cycling, and swimming– anything that lets me feel the wind in my hair and the pulse of life in my veins. I thrive on movement and constantly seeking new experiences.

Spending time with people is where I truly shine. I possess immense respect and a curious spirit when it comes to understanding the paths and life stories of others. I find my joy in the company of good-hearted souls, forging deep connections that go beyond the surface.

My previous host canceled my stay while I was on my flight to France. I didn't know what to do, and then Fabienne came to the rescue. I texted her, and she replied within a few minutes. She truly saved me!

I stayed with her and Joachim for almost two weeks. Fabienne was like an angel for me! She always asked if I was okay or needed anything. She… read more even helped me gain a better understanding of myself through my human design and she greatly assisted me with improving my French. She is a very open—minded and kind-hearted person with many travel stories to share, having visited non-typical destinations like China and Africa. Our conversations were enlightening for me. Her lifestyle is far from traditional, and she's a huge inspiration to me. She taught me to be authentic and live life on my own terms.

It's true that the yurt is located in a remote area, so having a car or relying on Fabienne to drive to the nearest train station is necessary. However, I didn't find it essential as Fabienne took me to Montpellier for a weekend, to Gruissan by the seaside for a few days, and on day trips to Carcassonne and Limoux. Thanks to her, I got to experience the true French atmosphere and indulge in delicious French cuisine. Her dynamic lifestyle ensured that my stay was far from dull. One memorable night, we attended a rugby sardine barbecue where people danced to old French songs and enjoyed themselves. I also had the pleasure of meeting most of her family, who were all very welcoming. Despite my beginner-level French, they tried to communicate with me. Fabienne's mother, in particular, treated me like a daughter during our visit. I felt genuinely welcomed.

Joachim won my heart on the first day when he took my hand and led me to the yurt. He's an energetic young boy who's always on the move. I enjoyed strolls with him in the baby buggy and playing with whatever caught his interest. Be prepared, though—he's young, so expect a few crying episodes throughout the day.

Oh, and brace yourself for mosquito battles! There are lots of them around.

Overall, I had an incredible experience with Fabienne, and I highly recommend staying with her, even if just for a few days, especially if you're unsure about having a child. It's a full-time job, and Fabienne deserves all my admiration for taking care of Joachim with such patience and love, even though she must be exhausted as a single mother at times.

Her calming Personality supported us in a balancing way and she stayed positiv althrough the way.
