Description
Hello everyone, my name is Daniele, I'm 35 years old, I grew up in a fairly large town in Calabria, at the foot of the Sila, we managed to have snow in the winter deep enough to go sledging in the town. I spent the first phase of my life there, among musical groups and continuous explorations.
I moved to Palermo in 2008 to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, attending an interdisciplinary arts course, spending a year on Erasmus in Valencia, Spain.
I became particularly passionate about video, photography, music and sound and painting.
I came to know the world of volunteering quite late and somewhat by chance, while I was traveling in Tunisia, some travel companions I met proposed that I go with them to volunteer for Woof.
A new world opened up to me and over time I had the opportunity to have various experiences, including volunteering offered by associations as group leader of younger kids.
At the moment I am in a phase of change and travel, I would like to gain more experience in this world, both in agriculture and in other types of projects, construction and various, meet new people and explore new places.
Many people had told me about Workaway, so here I am.

Salve a tutti, il mio nome è Daniele, ho 35 anni, sono cresciuto in un paese abbastanza grande in Calabria, ai piedi della Sila, riuscivamo ad avere la neve in inverno abbastanza alta da andare con gli slittini in paese. Ho passato la prima fase della mia vita lì, tra gruppi musicali ed esplorazioni continue.
Mi sono spostato a Palermo nel 2008 per studiare in Accademia di Belle Arti a Palermo, frequentando un corso di arti interdisciplinare, passando un anno in erasmus a Valencia in Spagna.
Mi sono appassionato in particolare al video, alla fotografia, musica e suono e alla pittura.
Sono venuto a conoscenza del mondo del volontariato abbastanza tardi e un pò per caso, mentre ero in viaggio in Tunisia, delle compagne di viaggio incontrate mi proposero di andare con loro in un volontariato di Woof.
Mi si aprì un nuovo mondo e nel corso del tempo ho avuto la possibilità di fare diverse esperienze, anche in volontariati proposti da associazioni come capogruppo di ragazzi più giovani.
Ho viaggiato abbastanza nel corso della mia vita, visitando in particolare buona parte dell'Europa.
Al momento mi trovo in una fase di cambiamento e di viaggio, vorrei fare più esperienza in questo mondo, sia in agricoltura che in altro genere di progetti, di costruzione e varie, conoscere nuove persone ed esplorare nuovi luoghi.
Molte persone mi avevano parlato di Workaway, così eccomi qui.

I studied art, especially photo video and audio.
I like playing musical instruments, mainly the guitar, I also make electronic music.
In the last 5 years I have renovated an old house that was my grandparents' house in an abandoned historic center in Calabria.
I am used to working in the countryside, I am quite good at manual work.

Mi piace suonare gli strumenti musicali, principalmente la chitarra, faccio anche musica elettronica.
Negli ultimi 5 anni ho ristrutturato una vecchia casa che era la casa dei miei nonni in un centro storico abbandonato in Calabria, sono abituato a lavorare in campagna, sono abbastanza portato per i lavori manuali.

I was quite busy whit my job and Daniele had the capacity to organise himself to complete the work missions that I gave to him. Is a nice guy ,creative and artistic….
