Somos dos hermanas y nuestro sueño siempre ha sido hacer un viaje juntas a Latinoamérica.
Me llamo Dana. Actualmente estudio química. Soy muy habilidosa con las manualidades y a lo largo de mi vida me han entusiasmado muchas actividades creativas. Siempre me ha gustado pintar, intentar reparar cosas en casa o construir un banco de trabajo con mi padre y aprender por mi cuenta a hacer joyas. Pero también me encanta la naturaleza y las ciencias naturales. Me encanta estar rodeada de animales y naturaleza, ambos me fascinan y me parecen el entorno de trabajo más bonito. Una vez trabajé durante un verano en una granja, cosechando y plantando diferentes verduras, y conviviendo con los hijos de la familia. Me gustan mucho los niños y me llevo muy bien con ellos. Antes y durante mis estudios, di clases particulares. Soy muy abierta y me entusiasman muchas cosas, por lo que me gusta ayudar o probar cosas nuevas, incluso si nunca las he hecho antes. Me gustaría mejorar mi español para poder comunicarme mejor con mi familia en Venezuela.

Mi nombre es Lina. Tengo una licenciatura en «Economía y Gestión Sostenible». Soy muy orientada y tengo un pensamiento económico lógico. Por otro lado, también soy muy comunicativa y me encanta trabajar con gente. Siempre he dado clases particulares y trabajado en colegios, y me he dado cuenta de que me gustaría convertirlo en mi profesión. Por eso he empezado una nueva formación en trabajo social.
Pero también me gusta el trabajo físico en la naturaleza. Mi primera experiencia con Workaway fue a los 18 años en una granja en Francia, donde aprendí mucho. A los 20 años trabajé varios meses en una granja de espárragos en Suecia.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Lina: languages + management + working with Youth
Dana: languages + skilled at manual work + creative and playful with children

We speak fluent German (C2) and English (C1). We both used to speak French fluently (since we attended a bilingual school and had courses in French), but since we don't speak it in our everyday life, I'd say we've gone from C1 to a B2 level (still understanding everything and having casual conversations). Dana speaks a bit of Italian, and we both speak some Spanish. We're always open to learn new things, and we are both passionate about it. Not only do we like to learn, but we also like exchanging knowledge.

Dana is better with younger Kids and animals. She is the creative on who works very precisely with her hands. Our father is a craftsman, and from an early age, she always enjoyed helping him. Dana has already worked on a farm in Italy and loves gardening.

Lina is the one with a management degree. She loves to organize things and needs good structure (she is also the one planning the whole trip, takes out insurance, checks when the bus arrives in the smallest village, and so on...) But she dosen't see herself behind a desk for her whole life. She loves to work with people. She studied social work for some semesters and worked at different schools and a youth center before.
