Hiya! I'm Julia, I'm 29 years old from Canterbury, Kent in England. I am currently backpacking across Australia on a working holiday visa and keen to find Workaway opportunities on my journey!

I have a degree in International Business Management and before leaving the UK I completed a one year pottery apprenticeship with I adored. I love languages, creative projects, well-being, psychology and organisation. I am approachable, easy going and resourceful.

Throughout my childhood I attended Steiner schools where creative thinking and practical skills are highly valued and I would love to practice and cultivate these skills further.

I love being by the sea, at festivals and anywhere else with hippie vibes. I have lots of experience in childcare, elderly care, hospitality and events. I have a manual UK driver's license and would love to get stuck into some outdoor work!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have over 10 years experience in hospitality, childcare, elderly care and animal care.

I am naturally diligent, considerate and detail-oriented and this has enabled me to work as a fashion design students' assistant, personal home organiser and as a pottery apprentice.

I have always loved working on various passion projects including film and video editing, music, writing and interior organisation and renovations.

My experience helping friends and family to renovate and organise their homes has given me some DIY experience that I would love to expand on; my dream is to build a little home for myself in a van and renovate the interiors myself.

I have two level 2 diplomas in the Principles of Dementia Care and Core Counselling Skills, as well as a level 1 diploma in photography.
