Hello,
I'm Claudie, 63 years old and I live in France. Retired for a year, I worked as a nurse.
I have a special affection for Ireland, its landscapes, its inhabitants, its music and...its seafood chowder. For the past few years, I;ve been spending 2 or 3 weeks there, traveling alone by bike on the wild atlantic way. Now, I,d like to stay in the same place to discover local life and immerse myself in the place.
I live in Pyrénées with my husband and our two dogs I love nature and being outdoors.
I am in good shape and I like helping poeple with the garden or with the tasks around their house or on their farm. I can also cook, help with the maintenance of the house, paint, take care of pets.
By sharing the daily fife of my hosts, I hope to improve my oral practice of the english language and, if the opportunity arises to lean new skills; there is no âge to learn.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been gardening as an amateur since my childhood and wherever I have lived in France, I've created a vegeteble garden and grown flowers.
We renovated and transformed into a gîte an old farmhouseand and I did the paint and the wood protection. I"m used to welcoming families and ensuring their comfort during their holidays.
I have good cooking skills, I love baking and I makje alot of jam. We could swap receipes.
I can do easy sewing.
This spring, I took part in the transhumance of 140 ewes from the plain to the mountain where I live 90km in 4 days. OI also stayed in a goat farm to discover how its cheeses are made.
I can work alone as welle as in a team.
