Description
Hi! I'm Chiara, a recent university graduate. In college, I studied Journalism, Psychology and Playwriting at Northwestern University. After taking a semester abroad in college, I was inspired by the different lifestyles, cultures and people I met while traveling. I couldn't stand the thought of starting off my adult life stuck in an office building and living a corporate lifestyle. So, I decided to take a 12 month gap year to travel and explore the world.
My goal is to meet new people, create lasting friendships and immerse myself in new communities! I am open to all types of experiences and cannot wait to be a volunteer at different host sites, or to meet other travelers and plan trips together.

In my life, I've accumulated a broad list of experience and abilities. Most recently, I interned at the Boston Consulting Group for two summers, at the Associate level, helping clients with their business strategy. I have experience with technical abilities like Excel, market research and creating slide decks. I am also the president of an events start-up, Indigo Social Club, where we partner with local businesses to throw nightlife events. I have worked in retail, babysitting, pet care, hospitality, waitressing, and more. Other skills I have are writing, photography, social media marketing, singing, cooking, and animal care.
