Looking to work in conservation to utilise my ecology and conservation degree and get experience whilst travelling!

Description

I'm a keen environmentalist and studied Ecology and Conservation at university. I love being outside, especially with animals, and I'm looking for opportunities to travel whilst working in areas I love and that mean I can use my degree.
I've loved travelling on and off over the last few years, but I have never visited central or south America so I can't wait to travel there next. I would love to be in a place where my free time is spent enjoying the outdoors, being active and spending time with others.
I like a mixture of busy and chill times. I've always been a relatively active get-up-and-go person but I enjoy my downtime too. It's nice to be around others with sustainable-orientated minds and left leaning views that I can share with and learn from! Whilst I want to be travelling my real aim is to be gaining experience in conservation - fauna mostly but flora too! - which can help me see what is important for me and future jobs.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My main interest is in ecology where I hold a first class degree. I studied this both in the UK and US so have experience in adapting my knowledge to my current location. Since graduating I have been working in bush regeneration in Sydney. This role is physically active and involves weeding, planting and land management.
I spent my childhood outdoors with animals and taking care of the 14 acres we owned so I have ample experience here.
I have also previously worked in hospitality for 4 years so have excellent customer service skills. I am approachable, social and manage my time well.
