Description

Hello hosts and fellow workawayers! I am a university student from the United States studying Psychology looking to build skills and relationships while exploring the world and different ways of life 😀 I enjoy all outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, gardening, trail running, biking, sports) and I love to learn and talk to people about absolutely anything. Some of my interests include philosophy, geography, environmentalism/animal rights and, of course, psychology. I am a first time Workawayer but have traveled a lot in the past with my mom, which included camping from our van, volunteer programs, and WOOFING. I currently work at my University as a peer tutor for Statistics and have previously worked as a babysitter and tutor for young children. In the spring and summer I like to work on our garden which I am in the process of converting to all native plants in order to service the wildlife in our area. I'm looking forward to my next adventure and to contribute any way I can!

I have lots of experience with kids as a babysitter and a tutor, and I am currently a statistics tutor at my university. I have experience using most common power and handheld tools on small projects and also love to work in the garden.

Ellen and Falk were fantastic hosts! They have a beautiful home with plenty of interesting and engaging work to do.
