Hello! I'm Cerys, a 24 y/o Aussie finishing up my undergraduate degree at the moment in Melbourne. I'm wanting to go into filmmaking, particularly documentaries.

I'm from the UK originally, though moved to Aus with my family when I was younger, so I consider Australia my home :) My mind always drifts to the places I want to see in the world, this is very much a priority for me.
I just got back from a six-month exchange in Trento, Italy, a town at the base of the Dolomites. I'm looking for a short Workaway stint between finishing my degree and Christmas :)

I'm very creatively driven, and very passionate about all things art and music. I love doing DIY projects/painting, so can be a particular help in those areas.

I've worked in hotels part-time during my degree, so am well-versed in customer service (for if any of your locations involve B&Bs/customer interaction etc). I've also done a previous work-away in Airlie Beach, doing daily housekeeping duties and general maintenance.

I'd love somewhere in QLD, I'm keen for a very outdoor/active experience and am very friendly/easy to get along with. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Hello!
Collectively we have fifteen years of customer experience. Cerys with hospitality, working in cafes/restaurants in Aus and London. I currently work at a busy hotel.
Aiden particularly has worked with people in vulnerable situations, so has very good communication skills.
In terms of physical skills, we are willing to give everything a go! We are both very open minded, so even if our experience doesn’t exactly fit our willingness will!

As mentioned, our number one passion is filmmaking, so can chat about this forever! We would love to show you our work and even make videos of our experience in your area. Our favourite TV show is 24 (2000s Kiefer Sutherland).
Cerys loves board games and mega-gaming (in person, large scale board games) and has gotten Aiden into this as well. If you find board games engaging, a night of them with a glass of wine is one of our favourite things.
Cerys is into visual art, particularly portraits. We have a big interest in the outdoors and stepping out comfort zone, so would like to try lots of these things whilst away. Another favourite thing we do is electric scooter along the beach in Adelaide.
