Description

Hello! I am a single woman who is looking to explore the world and soak in new cultural experiences. I am excited to meet new friends and give back to different communities through Work Away during my time off work. I'm a credentialed teacher who has taught for 7 years in California, 8 years in Morocco, and am in my first year teaching in Quito, Ecuador. I love urban life, but also appreciate rural life and love to be outside in nature--especially the beach!. I speak fluent English and intermediate Spanish. I am very looking forward to learning more about myself and connecting with others through WorkAway.

I can cook and am very clean. I can help with housework, yard work, and I am a very quick learner. I love working with people and can talk to anyone!
As a teacher, I have taught elementary for 16 years and am currently an English Language Learner Specialist. I also have experience tutoring, working with children who have special needs and am skilled at communicating and working with children of all ages. I also have experience working and hosting events through holiday companies and working at hostels in the past.
