Description

Hello! We are Camille and Maxwell from Australia! We have taken a year off following our wedding and we are currently travelling around the world all of 2025.

About Camille: When I am not travelling, I work as a social worker helping people with disabilities. I am the happiest when I am in nature, when I am able to help people, and when I make delicious meals for my friends and family. I am a seeker of new experiences, connections, friendships and knowledge.

About Maxwell: I completed my PhD in 2022 relating to biochemistry, and have been working in cancer research at a hospital. I love learning about history, culture and other ways people live around the world. I am particularly seeking knowledge and skills in homesteading, carpentry, permaculture and subsistence farming.

We work well together and individually. We can provide assistance with the following:
-domestic tasks eg: cooking, cleaning,
-gardening eg: weeding, lawn mowing/grass cutting, hedge trimming, watering
-house and pet sitting
-manual labour eg. painting, wood chopping
-tutoring and play
-basic administration and IT

We are not afraid to get our hands dirty and get sweaty in the sun. We are also very keen to learn new skills and look towards a sustainable living.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

About Camille's skills:
- My professional skill is in social work, in my usual job, I coordinate supports of those with disabilities, connecting them with the therapeutic and medical supports they require. I am also required to write supporting letters and medical reports. This means that I have extensive experience in administration, social work, and collaboration.
- My personal skills include domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, gardening, and looking after animals. I am also have skills in creative arts such as drawing and painting - watercolour in particular. I have previously studied IT and can help with basic IT problem solving.

About Maxwell's skills:
- My professional skills are in clinical research development and coordination particularly in cancer treatment. I coordinate clinical trials at hospitals ensuring the study is ethically done. I am the main point of contact for participants and doctors involved in the trial. I have extensive experience in administration, management and collaboration on difficult projects.
- I am an avid gardener, enjoy cooking and handiwork in both indoors and outdoors. I am interested in brewing, horticulture and homesteading. I am efficient with tools and a quick learner. I love science and enjoy planning and carrying out projects with others. I enjoy hosting board and card game nights, teaching others new games and leading DnD sessions as a game master.
