Hi everyone, thanks for visiting our profile!
We're Cami and Hannah, a queer couple looking to travel more in 2024.

Hannah is English, born and raised in Exeter and did her Bachelor's degree in English at Durham University.
Cami is Argentinian and Italian, born and raised in Buenos Aires and moved to the UK in December of 2020. They will be starting uni online in 2024, to get their Bachelor's degree in Bilingual Primary School Education.

We met while working together at an International Summer Camp in Scotland in the summer of 2022. We were both counsellors working with kids aged 6-16. Hannah taught Sports while Cami taught EFL and Art.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Cami: recently CELTA qualified (wohoo!) to teach English which they've done for +5 years. Speaks Spanish, English and Italian. Has loads of experience with and greatly enjoys working with children. Has worked as a sous-chef in London and can confidently cook for groups of up to 10 (although they do enjoy a challenge!).

Hannah: is completing a Master's degree in Medieval English at Oxford University, has volunteered with animals at Blue Cross Animal Charity (which she loved and would love to do again!), has worked with children in a number of contexts and currently tutors English GCSE. She also plays a number of instruments including guitar and piano (although she's extremely modest with these skills) and has been in quite a few musical uni endeavours!

We both have experience in hospitality and childcare. We are avid playlist makers (we have playlists to clean, translate Beowulf, assemble puzzles, etc.!), happy workers and quick learners!

Childcare-specific skills:
We both have DBS and PVG checks, Hannah is a trained lifeguard and Cami has completed several Level 1 and Level 2 childcare qualifications that can be provided upon request (including safeguarding, supporting children's mental health, encouraging positive behaviour, teething babies, etc.)
