Hi, my name is Camille,
I just finished an employment contract in a City Council in Lyon, France, and i'm looking to broaden my horizons, away from big cities.
I started learning italian on and off about a year ago. It's a long-lasting dream to be able to speak this beautiful langage, that 's why i chose this specific destination.
I am also very interested in handcrafting, building projects and everything that concerns self-sufficient ways of livings.
More generally, i would be glad to help people concretise their project ,especially if it speaks to me, while developing a whole new bunch of skills.
Finally, travelling and staying in a homestay accomodation are two very good ways to discover new people, cultures, other ways of living and thinking and share valuable moments.

In a nutshell, i'm ready for adventure ! ;)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Regarding my cursus, I completed a master's degree in Heritage Tourism in 2018 which followed a BA in English Literature and Civilisation. In between i lived abroad for 8 months in Edinburgh, as an aupair.
I like languages and would be glad to share mine if someone had some interest in it !

I had various experiences over the years, mostly in the cultural field, from volunteering in festivals of music and literature to writing scripts in amateur shorts.
I also commited in social structures (Red Cross) and participated in a Heritage project (Uneso application of a thermal city)

Last year, i went hiking in the Cevennes (a mountain chain in South of France) and ended up wine-picking, almost by chance for a week. I really enjoyed the experience, first the work in itself but also what i learned there, in terms of knowledge, and well-being.

I enjoy hiking and spending time in nature, for naturalist observation (birds especially), but more recently also for the physical challenge (GR, Stevenson road)
I like to draw and read, alone or surrounded by others, listen to musicians play, and sometimes join them when i feel cheeky enough.. ;)
For the most part i use to spend a lot of time discussing society topics, sharing ideas and points of views, playing boarding games of all kinds (i have a bias for collaborative games, like Pandemic) and eating some good food !
