Hello! My name is Britton Bielitz, and I am 20 years old. I am going into my junior year of college at a university in the United States (Texas A&M University). I’ve learned about different European countries for years, and it has been my lifelong dream to spend a summer abroad in Europe immersing myself in the different cultures.

As far as my qualifications go, I have completed my minor in Spanish, and I am currently pursuing a degree in nursing. I’m licensed, CPR certified, and extremely experienced in working with children. I’ve lifeguarded at my neighborhood pool for 3 years, worked as part of Childcare Staff at my church for 2 years, nannied for a family for 2 years, volunteered as a camp counselor for 5 years, and babysat for 7 years. Finally, I have cleaning experience, as I volunteered at a summer camp as a housekeeping intern last summer. I have/ love working with children of all ages!!

I will be in Europe from the end of May- beginning of August. I am looking to find a family or teaching job during those dates in either France, Spain, or Italy. Specifically, I want to find a family/ summer camp that would give me opportunities to travel, share our languages/ cultures, and (not essential, but definitely ideal) get exposed to medical experiences (for example, shadowing at a hospital). My passions include my faith (Christianity), my family, adventures, traveling, running, learning, building relationships, and being outdoors. I am very energetic and commonly describes as "bubbles and sunshine"!!

If you would like babysitting references, I’m happy to provide some. Please reach out to me if you think I would be a good fit for your family or summer camp in the role of a nanny or English teacher. Thank you!! :)

Plus de détails sur les langues qui m'intéressent
In my high school Spanish class, I learned Spanish through discussions, essays, projects, and Flamenco performances. This hands-on learning sparked my upcoming excitement of the Spanish language and encouraged me to embark on an immersion trip to Costa Rica the following spring. Exploring through Tamarindo, Monteverde, and Liberia opened my eyes to the diversity outside the bubble I call home. Trying new foods, learning a traditional dance, ziplining over the canopy, milking cows, and practicing Spanish with the locals connected me with a country that had previously seemed so remote. For me, it was a trip of a lifetime that continues to impact who I am today. Coming home, it inspired me become event coordinator of Spanish Honor Society at my high school. In this role, I helped organize fundraisers such as “Dia De Las Velitas”, a lantern lighting festival, intending to spread Hispanic heritage and open the door for other cultures to come alive; however, the impacts were far greater than that. I organized $600 worth of fundraising profits and under the influence of my teacher, Senora Bracksieck, put that money towards 150 Spanish children’s books to read and then donate to a school in need. As I’ve continued to grow and excel in my upper-level Spanish courses at my university, I would love to immerse myself further by teaching children in Spain how to speak English.

Growing up, I was raised in a family with 4 children. Ever since I was 3 years old, I've learned how to be a big sister and care for my siblings. Some of my favorite things to do with my siblings are play board games, run around outside, tumble, and share meals together. I truly love anything that involves relationship building or the outdoors. In addition, I love to be challenged and kept busy.
