Description

Hi there! We are Lucia and Edan from Manchester, both about to turn 24 years-old from Manchester, UK. We have always loved travelling and recently I've closed down a takeaway in Manchester to enjoy travelling the world with my boyfriend. We love experiencing different ways of living and are eager to learn as much as we can!
We're both hard workers (hence why we prefer the idea of a work away than just going on holiday or travelling) and very sociable so love meeting new people.
My (Lucia's) passions involve cooking, music (including playing piano), anything creative and arty (I'm no Picasso but it brings me joy), and immersing myself in nature!
Edan's passions include keeping active (former GB athlete), fashion (he has his own online clothing business), designing things (handy with a sewing machine).
We are currently looking for workaways from April 18th 2024.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

LUCIA
I am a very quick learner and love picking up new skills and helping to the best of my ability, I will definitely give whatever needs doing a good go and pick it up quickly. My strengths lie within:
- cooking
- creative/arty/decorative activities
- small DIY projects (if you are looking for a muscly builder please see Edan's section!)
- looking after animals (experienced with chickens, cats, dogs, reptiles, and brief experience with horse maintenance and care - I've ridden horses a few times and would love to properly learn but if you need someone really experienced with horses that's not me quite yet!)
- gardening
- general maintenance
- childcare
- I also have a driving license

EDAN
I think on my feet and use my initiative, I have a plethora of skills including:
- qualified bicycle mechanic (2+ years experience)
- basic property maintenance
- cleaning
- decorating
- small repairs
- DIY
- kitchen experience
- childcare
- gardening

We're just happy to have the opportunity to experience a different lifestyle, learn, and help out!

I am looking for somewhere that can provide food and accommodation in return for my hard work! I am of course very happy to actually cook all the meals, though :)
