Hi! We are Beth and Eddie. We are a couple who would love to travel the world and think Workaway is an amazing way to do that, whilst also helping others! We are currently at a Workaway in Canada and will be until December. Whilst travelling we have met so many amazing people and made so many amazing memories, we hope to carry on doing so for the months to come!
Beth - I am a 20 year old who loves animals, travelling, meeting new people, and the outdoors. I love to hear people's stories of where they have been and where they are going, giving me inspiration for future trips of my own. I have taken part in a wildlife volunteer program in Namibia which was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I would love to go back one day, but for now am loving travelling North America and hopefully Central America in the upcoming few months.
I'm currently learning Spanish but have only been doing so for the last 2 months.
Eddie - I am also a 20 year old who loves travelling. My favorite pass-times are outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, skateboarding, mountain biking) and also photography. Since knowing Beth I have been introduced into the love for all animals, growing up I never had any of my own, but I now consider myself an animal lover and have learnt so much about a wide range of animals. I am new to Workaway and am so excited to gain new experiences from it.
We have both been living in Canada since September 2023 and would love to see as much of the country as we can whilst we are here.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Beth - I have experience working and living with a huge range of animals. I have worked as a stable hand at a yard with over 40 horses, during lambing season in the UK I worked on a farm, assisting when necessary with the birth of lambs, and completing general farm tasks such as feeding, cleaning, shearing, and tagging the animals. In my home life I have had a huge range of animals at home so am used to the care of many different species, rabbits, dogs, cats, chickens, geckos etc.
I grew up in a huge family so have constantly been surrounded by children, teaching me how to care for them at all ages along the way!
I have recently worked in guest services for multiple tourism companies, so have a lot of experience communicating with people from all over the world.
Eddie - I am a very practical and handy person. I have worked on a maintenance team for a kayak company and as a labourer previously. I also have experience caring for both animals and children! I enjoy creating new meals and trying out different recipes.
