Description

Aydin: I was born in the US, to Iranian parents, grew up in Prague, and currently living in Lisbon. I currently work as a peacebuilding consultant for international peace & conflict projects. What motivates me is fostering community, wandering in nature, contributing to social impact projects, cooking and hosting for others, learning about sustainable environmental practices, building and working with my hands, creative exploration/expression through arts and writing, meditation and yoga, playing guitar, reading about philosophy and psychology, being in bodies of water, and my work in the field of international peacebuilding. I'm most happy when I've completed a day playing with my curiosities and then cooking a meal with friends, watching sunset, having deep conversations and laughing all together.

Benian: I'm Benian, I grew up in Germany but since 5 years I live abroad (Belgium, New Zealand, Mexico, Netherlands). I'm into ice baths, meditation, nature, yoga, entrepreneurship, cooking healthy (vegan) meals, programming, meaningful conversations, meeting new people and many more things! I love experiencing new things, reading and connecting with other people. See the skills section for a description of my skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Aydin: I've worked on vineyards, gardens, farms, and have helped in construction of sheds, tiny homes, decks, irrigation systems, and in designing the architecture of interior and exterior spaces. I am also skilled in project and people management and ensuring that collective action is conducted efficiently and consciously. I am a skilled sustainability analyst and impact evaluator. I am also a facilitator and can hold space for dialogue and problem solving. I am a skilled cook, conversationalist, holder of spaces, experience curator. I am an extremely quick learner and eager to do the work that serves the whole group–even if nobody else wants to do it.

Benian: I did farmwork many times and I'm quite handy, I can learn everything fast and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I also built things from wood often since my childhood. I studied entrepreneurship and innovation and had my own startup, so I can also help you in that direction. Cooking is one of my passions and I think I'm also good at it (mostly vegan) I'm good with computers, photoshop, websites, a bit of coding etc. I also went on a trip with Wim Hof and also organised and guided a few ice baths and breathing sessions myself. Also worked as a waiter in different jobs
