Hi! I’m Rie. I like to study new things and hope to encounter new people through workaway.
I had my first taste of agriculture through wwoofing in Canada and Japan, which was memorable time. Now I’m crazy about regenerative agriculture and natural farming. Eager to learn anything and communicate with people from all over the world. I'm responsible, hardworking and open-minded person.

I grew up in Osaka, Japan. Even though I spent most of my life in urban city, I've had a longing to try farming in the future. I also have dream to solve environmental issues in the world.
My major was English. I did working-holiday in Canada where I experienced farming life for the first time. I did WWOOFing 4 times in total, twice in Canada, twice in Japan. I felt farming lifestyle is a full of happiness. After graduation from university, I worked as a salesperson for electric equipment in Tokyo. Although it was a good occupation, I couldn't stop thinking about environmental issues and farming lifestyle. I decided to start visiting various places as workawayer from November 2023.

I've experienced some farms in the world so far. I helped cleaning, cooking, laying wall tiles, making a bamboo shelf, taking care of chickens and cows, weeding, as well as gardening. I'm happy to help anything!!

I'd like to learn different lifestyle, culture, the way of thinking and more.
