I enjoy frisbee sports, learning about different cultures and am fascinated with anything new that I can see or learn about that is not in my day-to-day norm.

Description

Over the last several years I fell into the trap of living to work and not seeing the world and meeting new and interesting people. I am excited to bring my positive energy and integrity to different opportunities around the world. I have done several DIY projects at home and enjoy problem solving when learning new skills. I am up for any challenge and cannot wait to learn about new cultures. My leisure time usually involves a frisbee and friends to enjoy a game of catch.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked a customer service job for the last several years. I was responsible for many different aspects of the job including cleaning, organizing, problem solving, hiring, scheduling, and managing the business. I thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on physical labor of the job and the day-to-day personal interactions with customers and employees was one of the best parts of the job. My mind is open to everything and attached to nothing which helps me stay open to different ideas and new ways of completing tasks or assignments. I like to work towards new solutions when presented a job and see them as fun challenges instead of work. I have done several DIY projects at my own homes in the past and would research a project first, then apply the knowledge on the task.

I recently quit my job of 22 years and have embraced living life. I sometimes fall back in the mindset of a daily schedule, but am looking forward to opportunities on workaway to help me understand an ideal work/life balance.
