Hi! I'm Ariane, a 29 years old half Italian and half Belgian. I've lived in Rome, Brussels and London, and after 6 years of working on an environmental research project I've decided to travel for a few months around South America to discover new countries, cultures and people. And so far it's been amazing :)

I love being surrounded by nature, whether it is during hikes or simply being able to observe and enjoy it. I care about protecting this environment I find so beautiful, and I try to do it both in my personal life and in the professional one, where my studies and then work in bioengineering allowed me to deal with environmental issues to try to be part of the solution.

I'm generally really positive, and I tend to believe that a smile is a very little but powerful gesture. I'm very curious about meeting new people, discovering other cultures, and listening to all the different stories that I come across on my way.

As much as I like being active, and I enjoy all kind of physical activities - from walking, to doing yoga, to running (even if I'm not very good at it), and open to trying pretty much any other sport - I also love quiet and rest times. Sometimes nothing beats some good reading time, whether it's inside on a rainy day or outside enjoying the sun.

I've grown up in a pretty international family, so I really enjoy exchanging in different languages and learning new ones. I like cooking and love discovering new recipes (and then eating them).

I'd very much like to participate to a meaningful project somewhere and sometimes around my trip - hopefully some of my skills or at least my willingness to learn and try will be useful !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've always been interest and curious about manual, diy works, and since I was little I've helped my parents with little improvements/works around the house. I also love to exchange in different languages, so I'd be happy to speak italian, french or english to anyone that's interested. I have studied bioengineering and worked in environmental projects, so I've been in close contact with many activities regarding plants, gardening and farm works. I've grown up in a family of 5 and I really enjoy cooking so I can definitely help in house chores, preparing meals, baby sitting or taking care of pets!
