Description
I am Antonia from Brazil and after working for almost 20 years as a secretary at a school, I decided to take some free time to travel, visit different places, meet people, cultures, learn languages and because of that, I decided to become a volunteer.
My friends and family see me as a cheerful, creative, organized, determined and responsible person who likes to help and learn.
Volunteering through workaway, I would like to have experiences that bring knowledge and development of new skills. One of the objectives is to learn the English language, so I will start my volunteer work in England. In addition to experiencing and getting to know other cultures and people, I would also like to share my culture and my language wherever I am.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Volunteered in a hostel doing housekeeping and helping in the kitchen with cleaning, organising and tidying.
Volunteered at a Buddhist Centre and helped with the cleaning and tidying, serving guests and ordering their meals of the Cafe that the center runs.
Volunteered doing housework in a project with children.
I can contribute with administrative functions and with the use of the computer, as I work as a school secretary, as well as with customer service. I can collaborate in the maintenance of the house and help with household chores and collaborate with the care of animals, such as dogs, cats and chickens, because in my mother's house there are these animals and I have always helped with their care. I still share a house with my sister, she has a cat and because I'm working from home, I'm responsible for taking care of her cat. I am interested in learning about sustainable alternatives.
I worked for 3 years in the computer room of a school with children and teenagers. So I'm interested in having volunteering experiences in schools or social projects.
