Hello! I am Ann(a), in my early forties and taking a career break. I am travelling the world, looking for the "right place for me" but in the mean time, help out, look around and hopefully make a difference.

In love with all kinds of animals :-) Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Agro and Biotechnology, specialisation animal care/vet tech. In distance learning, so no need to go to campus and no need to study all the time (I can easily go a week without :))

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Professionally I am a project manager, I like to be hands on, take on a task (small or large) and take it through to the end.

I think I can say I see work and I'm not afraid of it - will do what it takes.

In general I like to (and think I am good at) take care of animals (dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, goats, any animal basically!), I know how to use a broom/brush and mob, cook a nice meal, can do painting, weeding, cutting branches, etc. I don't have green fingers, but willing to try with some guidance. I don't seem to get the wood chopping though :(

Have worked in my parents tavern as a teenager for years so know my way around a bar, as a waitress and at a hotel reception.

I do love working outside, preferably in the sun, but animals need feeding in all kinds of weather so I will get out anyway :)

I am a licensed pilot for a Cessna 152 but will need renewed practice before flying again. I just finished my Master in Disaster Management. i started a bachelor degree in animal care in distance learning @Odisee in Belgium in 2022.
