Description

I am a teacher-student from Norway, and currently living in the "Northern Paris": Tromsø.
Last summer I went on an Interrail that among other countries brought me to Portugal. I really enjoyed the vibe there, and would love to get to know more of the land and culture. Traveling by doing Workaway, is by my opinion one of the best ways to do this, and I am excited and happy to learn more and to contribute with what I can!

I have experience from volunteering at a hostel in Hawaii, where we did reception work, cleaning and renting out surfing equipment. I have also volunteered for the organization In The Same Boat, where we lived on a sailboat and picked garbage at the coast of Norway. Currently, beside the studying, I am a part of the student-organization «Framtiden I Våre Hender» (Directly translated: The Future in Our Hands), where we work with how to engage students in the environmental crisis.

I really enjoy surfing and yoga, and would love to practice this deeper and in the same time meet interesting people and experience different cultures. Other interests I have are climbing, skiing, hiking in the mountains, dancing and more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience from working several years at guesthouses and cafés, with reception-work, serving food and cleaning. I am serviceminded and I really enjoy working with people. I also have experience from working as a guide in the mountains and being outside is something I really enjoy. Also I love working with and teaching children.
