Hello! My name is Anna-Lena, I am 18 years old, and I come from Styria, Austria. I am currently studying at the Karl Franzens University of Graz to become a teacher, specializing in English, Italian, and Physical Education. This reflects my passion for languages, communication, and staying active.
My Language Skills:
• German: Native speaker
• English: C1 level
• Italian: B1-B2 level (i understand most things, but i need some talking practise)
My Interests:
In my free time, I love being active, especially running, and spending time with friends. Generally, I would describe me as quite outgoing as I enjoy being around people. Moreover traveling is one of my biggest passions as it allows me to explore new cultures and broaden my horizons, but I also really like creative things painting or crafting.
Work Experience:
I have been working in a local restaurant for the past two years now, which has taught me responsibility, time management, and teamwork. Additionally, I work as a track and field coach for children aged 10 to 14, focusing on teaching them teamwork, the joy of sports and helping them to believe in themselves.
Volunteering & Tutoring:
Every summer, I volunteer at a children's summer camp at Lake Attersee, working with kids aged 7 to 14. Those experiences have given me valuable skills in childcare, organization, and creativity. Furthermore, I provide English tutoring for students, which I really enjoy as it allows me to share my knowledge.
Skills & How I Can Help:
I’m happy to help with language learning, especially English and German, and I am more than willing to support children or adults in improving their skills. Additionally, I am happy to take care of housework and help maintain a clean and organized environment to ease the workload for my hosts. Whether it’s doing chores, keeping things tidy, or engaging in fun activities with the children, I am ready to contribute wherever needed. I can also help the hosts with cooking and preparing easy meals.
Personal Traits:
I would describe myself as reliable, helpful, and curious. I am eager to learn new things, take on challenges, and immerse myself in different cultures and experiences. I am also very adaptable and enjoy contributing to a positive environment wherever I go.
