Hello!

We are both geographers, with high level of curiosity. We have met while stydying Geography at University of Warsaw. Both in love with nature, people and animals.

Sometimes we are thinking the same things at the same time and saying same jokes. But we haven't became one hybryd, so we will also introduce ourselves separatelly:

"I'm Ania. I used to work as a coordinator of social campain project, encouraging people to choose bike as a mean of everyday transport in Warsaw. I am also a photographer. I enjoy meeting new people and new cultures, having the possibility to discover new ways of thinking and living.”

"Aaaand I'm Mateusz, but for foreigners Mat (easier to pronounce). On daily basis I am geoinformatic analytic. From time to time I am also a travel guide. Huge fun of ski jumping, boxing and other sports. Helping others is something that brings me happiness."

Together previously we have been also working and living in Iceland, had the trekking of our life in Nepal to Everest Base Camp, did the tour the National Parks in United States, and did a bike trips in a few European countres.

So yeah, this is us. Now, from 08/2024 until 08/2025 we took a gap year from regular jobs to travel, meet wonderful people and learn more about our world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Ania: I know how to take a good photo, know some graphic design. I have created by myself an online shop website, so I would rate my skills in that as a know-something begginer, with some extra Photoshop skills. Also I am pretty fluent in social media, knowing what brings people's attention. The key to succes is good organization, so I am master at making to do lists. Thanks to that I am able to coordinate projects and feel good in that. I have been working in Iceland, United States and Czech Republic, mostly at costumer's service. I have an experience in cooking, serving and making coffee. In Poland I have been a trainer ether for children and adults and projects coordinator. My English is C1.

Mat: I am interested in all computer things, so I know how to fix some basic internet or software problems. Now I am working as data analytic and I am creating many kinds of maps for National Parks. But I would like to change a bit my profession and in free time I am learning modeling 3d in Blender. In the summer season I am a travel guide. I had some trips in Europe with big groups of students so I can say that I am able to take care of people (also of animals, cause I love them). This job teaches me organization, punctuality, being resposible and give me a contact with the foreign language contractors. In Iceland for couple months I was working as a waiter and kitchen help. I just have finished refurbishing our apartment, so I would be also able to do some drilling and painting. My English is B2.

We are both very flexible, ready to learn almost any kind of work. Especially we would like to gain skills in sustainable farming and gardening.
