Description

Hi, I’m Andri from Indonesia. I run an English education project in West Sumatra, and for the last few years I’ve been living as a digital nomad while managing my work remotely.

I’ve travelled to many countries, hosted travellers and volunteers at my school, and have also been hosted by kind people during my own journeys. So I understand both sides: how to be a good guest, and how much a helpful, respectful person can mean to a host.

I’m curious, practical, and easy to talk to. I enjoy meeting people, taking photos, diving, exploring local life, and having good conversations over simple food or coffee.

As a business owner, I’m used to doing many things: management, websites, design, social media, community engagement, guest experience, problem-solving, and small daily tasks that need to be done. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and I don’t look down on honest work.

I’m joining Workaway because I still love volunteering. I want to travel slower, help with real projects, learn from local people, and hopefully leave every place a little better than I found it.

My strongest skills are management, websites, simple systems, graphic design, photography, content ideas, and community engagement.

As a business owner, I’m used to handling many different things: organizing people, solving problems, improving details, communicating with guests or students, and making a place feel more welcoming and effective.

I can help with online presence, social media, basic website work, photos, design materials, activity ideas, and guest/community experience.

I’m also ready to get my hands dirty. I have done many kinds of work in my own project, from planning to small daily tasks, so I don’t look down on any honest work. I’m happy to help, learn, and contribute wherever I can.

I enjoy photography, diving, walking around new places, and meeting people from different backgrounds. I like meaningful conversations, language exchange, and learning about local culture through daily life, not only tourist attractions.

I am quite independent because I have been a digital nomad for several years, but I also enjoy being part of a community. I try to be respectful, clean, flexible, and easy to live with.

I may need some time for my online work, but I am good at managing my schedule and I’m happy to contribute properly during my helping hours.
