Hey I'm Ana!

I have a unique and diverse background that has shaped my love for travel and adventure. I grew up in Rio, Brazil until I was 8, then moved to Berlin, Germany for five years. After that, my family and I returned to Brazil, but to a different town. Before settling down again, my parents took my brother and me on a 4 month road trip through parts of South America. This incredible journey opened my eyes to the joys of traveling and exploring new cultures. I vividly remember being initially scared of wild camping and in the end, absolutely loving it!

My upbringing instilled in me a sense of independence. I moved to Portugal to live with my aunt in pursuit of a better education, my curiosity and eagerness to learn making me feel dissatisfied in Brazil. Now, during this gap year, I look forward to travelling, learning about different ways of life, and immersing myself in various cultures. I especially want to get to know the coasts and mountains of Greece and Albania!

I consider myself a quick learner (if I may say so myself!) who enjoys adapting to new situations and challenges. I am excited about the opportunity to connect with unique people and contribute to their projects. I hope to make meaningful connections, learn new skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the world through this experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m eager to learn new skills on this trip, but I already have some experience in and enjoy cooking, babysitting, and cleaning. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and am particularly interested in learning more about gardening. I consider myself a flexible and quick learner who enjoys staying productive. I’ve also worked as a bartender and waitress, which has given me experience in customer service and teamwork.

I very much enjoy reading, hiking around and exploring new places or going to the beach. I also love music; I can play the guitar and sing and also play a little bit of piano. I would love experience life through the lens of other people and learn about their opinions and way of life!
