Hello! I'm Josh, a man of many passions and skills. From gardening and animal care to data analysis, I am very helpful around the home and in the business setting. I got my college degree in psychology and really enjoy getting to know and be a part of communities. I have professional experience working in the hospital, office and school setting, as well as working in restaurants and gardens. I am also bilingual in Spanish and English, I can speak, read and write both languages fluently.

In my free time I like to write, chat with my abuelita, play soccer with my dog, cook dishes from around the world (I love to eat), and take pictures of birds. I am new to workaway and excited to begin my first journey!

¡Hola! Soy Josh, un hombre de muchas pasiones y habilidades. Desde la jardinería y el cuidado de los animales hasta el análisis de datos, soy muy útil en el hogar y en el entorno empresarial. Obtuve mi título universitario en psicología y realmente disfruto conocer y ser parte de las comunidades. Tengo experiencia profesional trabajando en el ámbito hospitalario, de oficina y escolar, además de trabajar en restaurantes y jardines. También soy bilingüe en español e inglés, puedo hablar, leer y escribir ambos idiomas con fluidez.

En mi tiempo libre me gusta escribir, charlar con mi abuelita, jugar al fútbol con mi perro, cocinar platos de todo el mundo (me encanta comer) y tomar fotografías de pájaros. ¡Soy nuevo en Workaway y me emociona comenzar mi primer viaje!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have much experience with plants and animals. At my house we have dogs, cats, chickens, and turkeys. I have trained animals before and worked with rats in a neuroscience lab. I have also worked on a plant nursery and learned basic plant care maintenance.

I am also good at fixing things with my hands, though I am still new at this. My dad is currently teaching me. If you tell me to fix something, I can usually figure it out with enough time (an internet connection to YouTube would help).

I have mentored young children throughout all my time at college and helped them learn how to read. I also led younger students on outdoor camping and hiking trips. Now I am working in a school for children ages 9-12. I am passionate about communicating and teaching children, and I want to keep learning more about this. I do not have much experience with babies and that is something I'd like to work on.

I also have 3+ years experience in social science research, specifically in psychology and sociology. If you need help starting up a research project, look no further!
