I live in Montpellier, France. I love artistic activities such as creating a story, learning a dance choreography, building a DIY project and much more. I am open to any activities I can learn!

Description

Hello ! I am Alyssa, 19 years old and I always lived in southern France. My family is full of artists, musicians, intellectuals and people working in the social and medical profession. I'm attracted by artistic activities like: music, dance, cooking, drawing, styling... I am passionate about Japanese pop culture such as anime, manga for years. Traveling and listening to music are also a part of my biggest passions, they make me feel alive. With my mother by my side, I have already traveled several times in the world: I went to England, Ivory coast, Spain and Canada. So, I have some anecdotes to tell, if you'd like! The things I enjoy with traveling are seeing new landscapes, learning a new culture and how people use to live every day in their country, visiting cities and countrysides, improving my language skills...
I am really attracted by Japan culture, so this is the first country I travelled to with Workaway. There are so many countries I would love to visit !
I also love to get close to the nature, animals and the wilderness, so I'm interested by DIY and Eco-friendly projects.
I don't have many skills yet but I focused on my cooking skills up till now.
I'll always lift up the mood with good vibes and maybe some dad jokes ( I can't promise they'll all be funny tho), more seriously I am a fast learner and faithfully live by the standards of patience, politeness and respect.
It would be my pleasure to help out families around the world with housework, DIY projects, kids and many others things. I am more than ready to learn everything I can about manual work, languages, cultures, animals and much more. Hope to meet you soon ;)

I would like to improve my Japanese, Portuguese and English skills. It's been 3 years since I started to learn Japanese. I have some Portuguese bases, but they are quite small which is why I didn't mention them. Also, I can teach you some French !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am working in a restaurant as an apprentice since August, 2022. I really enjoy cooking alone or not. My pleasure is to make people happy with what I do! I still don't know if I want it to be my life's work, but I definitely love to cook!
I learned the basics of French cuisine, so I think I can quickly learn new styles of cooking, which is one of my life goals! I especially want to learn Japanese cuisine but I still open to others cooking styles.
