Description

Hey !

I'm Aël, an 18 years old from the french countryside of Bretagne.

Having just graduated from high school, I decided I needed some time to figure things out and find myself before actually settling down.
And Workaway seemed like the perfect way to do that, by allowing me to connect with people, lend them a hand and grow through the experiences I'll share with them.

Which is why I jumped on the occasion and booked a ticket for the green hills of Ireland !
I stayed there for 6 months, hopping from place to place, and had the chance to meet so many lovely people.

I have a deep love for nature and wildlife, and often like peaceful walks along lovely trails.
I'm quite found of reading, I think it's a way for me to get into other perspectives and explore new worlds and stories.
I also enjoy a wide variety of music genres, and like anything handy.

Although this is just the beginning of my journey, I'm looking forward to step out of my comfort zone and cherish the experience that each new connection brings.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I know my way around computers, from the day-to-day basics to more advanced stuff, including troubleshooting, video editing and 3D modeling.
I also have plenty of experience in dog petting, and am trying my best to be a decent brother.

I've also worked as a cashier in a hypermarket, owned some hens and did various tasks for my previous hosts in Ireland, such as cooking, gardening, filling sanding and painting walls, restoring wooden furniture, splitting firewood, taking care of farm animals, fixing an old stone wall, laying a brick wall and taking down parts of an old cottage.

But most importantly, I'm more than happy to pick up any skill and help in any way I can :)
