Mein Name ist Alijah und ich komme aus Deutschland. Ich bin 22 Jahre alt und studiere zurzeit Grundschullehramt. Es gibt viele Dinge, für die ich mich begeistern kann, aber besonders schlägt mein Herz für Katzen. Seit ich klein, bin lebe ich mit Katzen zusammen und es ist schon lange ein Wunsch von mir, Katzen ohne Zuhause zu helfen. So kam ich zu Workaway und hoffe nun, hier Menschen zu finden, denen ich meine Hilfe anbieten kann, um so meinen Wunsch zu verwirklichen. Was mir außerdem Freude bringt, ist es, in der Natur zu sein, kreativ oder handwerklich tätig zu sein und Zeit mit Kindern zu verbringen.

My name is Alijah and I'm from Germany. I am 22 years old and currently studying to become a primary school teacher. There are many things I can get excited about but especially my heart beats for cats. Since I was little I have been living with cats and it has been a longstanding desire of mine to help cats without a home. So I came to Workaway and now hope to find people here who I can offer my help to make my wish come true. What also brings me joy is to be in nature, to be creative or do crafting projects and to spend time with children.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Eine meiner größten Stärken ist, dass ich gerne Neues ausprobiere und lerne. Ich habe kein Problem mit anzupacken und mir die Hände schmutzig zu machen. Außerdem bin ich kreativ, was auch oft beim lösen von Problemen hilfreich ist. Für Tiere habe ich ein sehr großes Herz und habe sie gerne um mich. Besonders mit Katzen habe ich viel Erfahrung. Da ich selbst seit meiner Geburt mit Katzen zusammenlebe, weiß ich mit ihnen umzugehen und kann ihre Körpersprache meistens gut deuten. Grundsätzlich würde ich mich auch als jemanden beschreiben, der gut mit Menschen aller Altersklassen zurechtkommt. Durch meine Erfahrung als Vertretungslehrerin, kann ich außerdem gut mit vielen Reizen umgehen und in Stresssituationen Ruhe bewahren.

One of my biggest strengths is that I like to try and learn new things. I don't have a problem with getting my hands dirty. I am also creative, which is often helpful when solving problems. I have a very big heart for animals and like to have them around me. Especially with cats I have a lot of experience. Because I've been living with cats since birth, I know how to deal with them and can usually interpret their body language well. I would also describe myself as someone who gets along well with people of all ages. Due to my experience as a substitute teacher, I am also able to deal with many stimuli and keep calm in stressful situations.
