Hey! We are Alice and Anna, both 25 and from England!
We are soon starting our long-awaited trip across the globe, exploring South and Central America. We're looking forward to volunteering with Hostels, Animal Sanctuary's and Sustainability Projects along the way.
We're both animal lovers, enjoy being in nature, immersing ourselves in new cultures, and both aren't afraid of hard work and getting our hands dirty!! We are both Spanish beginners, and can't wait to learn more!
Exploring new places outside of our comfort zone is what our heart's desire - the best decisions are generally the scariest ones to make!
We both feel happiest when in nature, whether it be on a beach or in the countryside.
A key motivation for us both is job satisfaction and sense of accomplishment; whether it be from learning a new skill, or perfecting an old one! We're active and reasonably strong, and always willing to give something a go, but equally know when to ask for help! We consider ourselves efficient, organised worker's, and will really get stuck in.

Alice:
-As a returning volunteer to a cat sanctuary, I now have vast knowledge in:
*animal welfare
*administering medication
*recognising and reporting changes in behaviour or symptoms
*sanitisation and deep cleans of animal cages
*trapping of animals for TNR purposes.
- I've worked and volunteered in hotels & hostels
*housekeeping
*reception (check ins/outs)
*cash handling
*approachable and friendly!
- Prior to travelling, I was a supervisor in a restaurant for 3 years
*leadership
*thinking on my feet - using my initiative
*team work (solving problems as a collective, delegating, and being there for the rest of the team.)
-Growing up I have always helped my mum with DIY around our home. I have also done work experience with a painter and decorator
*stripping wallpaper/sanding

Even though I would still consider myself a beginner, I love learning tips and tricks to better my DIY skills.
- I completed a young life-guarding course, so I consider myself a strong swimmer who enjoys being in water - a lot!
-I hold a full UK manual driving license, and have been driving for over 5 years.
Anna:
-I have been a mental health nurse for 3 years
*innate ability to connect with people, no matter our backgrounds or upbringing *problem solving/decision-making, I think fast on my feet!

-I've also worked in a cafe in the past, so have hospitality experience which only deepens my person-centred approach to life

We really enjoy yoga, bouldering/rock climbing, as well as wild swimming. All of which go hand in hand with our love of nature and the outdoors. We also love art, reading and history!
