Description

Hello! My name is Alice and I come from Trento, a small city in Northern Italy close to the Dolomites.
I am 22 years old and I just graduated from University, in a course called Political science, International relations and human rights.
I decided to have a sabbatical year and then continue my studies in the future because I had the need to learn stuff different than theoretical subjects.
I would love, in fact, during this next year, to learn as many things as possible and to get to create real bonds with people and jobs. I'd like to become passionate of new things and to reinforce the relationships with what I already know a little. I also love to learn something by immersing myself in that kind of life and live the true experience, even if maybe that is not my thing. The risk is always worth taking, as long as you can learn something. For this same reason, I love to travel because it allows me to introduce myself in a new culture and environment, full of new ideas, thoughts, opinions and ways of getting things accomplished.
Anyways, I am a really curious person so I have plenty of interests. I have a passion for cooking, reading, and watching movies. I'd love to share the moments I spend time doing these things with you. I also love to hike in the mountains and enjoy the fresh air. I like to ski (even though I don't do it often) and play volleyball.
My objective for this year (possibly this Spring) is to walk the Camino de Santiago (the French path), so if you have any advice I would love to hear them and also to listen to your own experiences.

I would really like to learn German, since it's from the first grade that I have been studying it. Unfortunately, Italian school is not very good at teaching the languages, so I still cannot speak it. I can understand and write it a bit, but it is really some basic stuff. Other than German (and English of course), I'm interested in every language, but I have no previous knowledge.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love and I can say that I am pretty good at cooking and baking. It is a passion that blossomed when I was a kid and I constantly tried to help my mom in the kitchen.
I am a hardworking person and I like to do things in the right way, which doesn't mean that I have to follow a traditional or a certain way of working, but that the process and the final product has to be of good quality.
I also like to take pictures and videos with my camera and sometimes I like to edit them into a video that I share with my friends.
I am a fast learner and I like to find solutions to any type of problem.

I love watching sports!!! I am a tennis fan and a basketball fan (especially of the Italian Championship and the team of my hometown). During Winter, I LOVE watching alpine ski races as I have always done with my family. I know some things about many sports since my dad watches a lot of them!
I love playing board games and card games: the ones I play the most are Risiko (of course) and Exploding Kittens with some expansions, which is a card game that always makes me a little frustrated. Also, I just learned how to play Splendor and Bang! Lately, I have this wish to start playing Twister again because it is a game that I always end up crying with laughter.
