Description
I am 27 years old and have an undergraduate degree in biology and studio art from Colorado College. I have worked as a carpenter (traditional timber frame style, renovation, stick framing) and a distiller in Vermont and Alaska. I love riding my bike and in 2016 I toured across the USA with one friend and some full panniers. I love fixing things - whether that takes the form of gluing broken pottery or improving a plot of land through permaculture and traditional building!
I recently bought a house with my brother that I am renovating. While in Sweden I would love to help a local farm or family repair their buildings etc.! I have also always wanted to work with horses and sled dogs, so I would be thrilled to get some more exposure working in an equestrian space.
My friends describe me as someone who is always up for a swim after work, is flexible and needs little, and has an astute aesthetic eye.
I'm interested in traveling in Sweden because I have strong family ties there. My hope is to move to Sweden at some point in my life, either for graduate school or for work!
